Are you using Oracle9i Release 1 (9.0.1)? Migrate to Oracle9i Release 2 
(9.2.0.1).

Checked the source. The release 1 calls certain operations on m_cache and then 
sets it to null. Hence the second time round, it will throw a NPE. In release 
2, it has been fixed to always check for null, before calling any operations...

Let us know if that does not work...
