Ok, here we go :-)

I've also attached a complete "cvs export" of the plugins code.

And for the record, included in this email is an email from Andrew
Carmody (COO of ECN) granting permission to release this code.

Looking forward to some good code debates...don't be too hard on me :-)

Go for it!

Thanks for outlining the case. I would like to be made aware of any
future code "donations" (in advance also) but in general I agree with
the principle of "giving something back" where appropriate.

Thanks, Andrew

Subject: Permission to release Digester enhancements to Apache project

Hi Andrew,

As you are aware, we use quite a bit of free software from the Apache
Software Foundation.

One of the packages we use is called "Digester", and is used heavily by
the ECN Connector to parse its xml configuration files.

I have made some enhancements to this code, and would like to offer
these changes back for inclusion in the apache digester distribution. In
order to do this, I would need your permission; the code has been
developed by an ECN employee (me) on ECN time, and therefore needs
official approval before being included in an open-source project.

[business case for releasing code deleted for conciseness]
