Unable to configure commons-logging SimpleLog for a webapp

------- Additional Comments From gcompagnon@hotmail.com 2003-03-25 19:54 -------
In fact, there is a bug due to the lazy loading of LogClassName into
LogFactoryImpl.
This attribute is initialized by guessConfig() during the construction of the
factory. Nevertheless, the attributes list is not initialized when the factory
os constructed in LogFactory::getFactory() (the call to newFactory() is before
the loop for initializing the attributes.

for solving this bug, I ve moved the proxyFactory construction in a other
method, and used lazy instanciation for the ProxyFactory

this bug is present into the current release (LogFactoryImpl v1.22), but not in
the 1.0.2 (there was another bug, if there is log4j present, the LogFactoryImpl
uses always the ProxyFactory from log4J)
