Discovery tests fail with maven

Summary: Discovery tests fail with maven
           Product: Commons
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Discovery
        AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: Maarten.Coene@qmedit.com

Hi,

If I try to build discovery with maven by typing 'maven' at the command line,
the build fails because one of the tests assumes that a file 'testResource'
occurs 3 times in the classpath (located in 3 different directories) and the
default classpath of the test:test goal only contains 1 times this file.

The problem is that with the test:test goal of maven, it doesn't seem possible
to easily specify the classpath of the junit tests. (I could be wrong because
I'm a 100% newbie with maven). I've made modification to project.xml and
maven.xml to bypass this problem. As I said before: there probably exist
better solutions to fix it, but I'm new to maven.
