MappedPropertyDescriptor fails tests when compiled with gcj

craig.mcclanahan@sun.com changed:

------- Additional Comments From craig.mcclanahan@sun.com 2002-12-21 20:03 -------
This sounds like it is really one or more bugs in gcj.

(1) The Javadocs for the constructor that takes a property
name and two Method objects explicitly allows the Methods
to be null for write-only and/or read-only properties.

(2) The Sun JVM (at least) doesn't have a constructor on
PropertyDescriptor that takes only the property name,
so your proposed change would create compile errors on
    those JVMs.
