I'd like to apmlify my request by saying that due to the lack of any facility 
to enforce the "strict" checking of objects being returned to the pool coupled 
with a minor logics error in my application code, that I have already wasted 
much time time dealing with this issue.  So, I'll assert that it's more than a 
mere documentation issue and would very much appreciate it if you would give 
further consideration for the addition of an optional "strict" mode.
