HttpMethodBase does not compile on JDK prior to 1.3

           Summary: HttpMethodBase does not compile on JDK prior to 1.3
           Product: Commons
           Version: Nightly Builds
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Critical
          Priority: Other
         Component: HttpClient
        AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: marius_hettema@nl.ibm.com
                CC: marius_hettema@nl.ibm.com

reason is the use of URL.getPath() and URL.getQuery() within method
processRedirectResponse.

should use URIUtil.getPath and URIUtil.getQuery instead.

so, HttpMethodBase around line 952:

//update the current location with the redirect location
setPath(URIUtil.getPath(redirectUrl.toString()));
setQueryString(URIUtil.getQuery(redirectUrl.toString()));

thanks,

marius
