I'm ok with it.

3.8 is very new (August 23) but the junit developers have shown
excellent stability.  I don't think that we are using any of the methods
that were depricated in 3.7, now removed in 3.8 but there might be a few
adjustments.  I like some of the new methods, like assertFalse() and
assertNotSame().

I'd say go for it.
