It seems the rule for the pattern "report/" is not matched when the report
element is encountered, so the Report object is never created and the setReport
invocation fails.

I see two solutions to this issue, either
1) fix the syntax of your pattern
2) change the pattern matching to be more lenient, ignoring trailing slashes and
reducing consecutives slashes, so that "a////b" is equivalent to "a/b" and "a/"
is equivalent to "a".
