There is a HttpMultiClient.setRequestTimeout which is also a call to
HttpConnection.setSoTimeout in the end. I propose this method be deprecated and
HttpMultiClient.setSocketTimeout be added instead.

Jeff, the setSoTimeout probably comes from the Win32 API Constant called
SO_TIMEOUT. The usual name space problem with C++ is the reason this SO prefix.
