          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: HttpClient
        AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: xiaowei@stratify.com

Sometimes webserver allows you to choose between several authentication method.
Currently, httpclient pick the first one only. It should try all the choices
one by one until succeed.

e.g. in the case of

WWW-Authenticate: Negotiate
WWW-Authenticate: NTLM
WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="kmdc5"

It should use the basic authentication method
