This project is very intersting for me,
I will start "query" implementation next week and I plan to use JEX to plug
compilers.
As I understand it can be used right now to implemet simple filters
something like this:

  Query q = persistenceManager.getQuery("javascript", MyClass.class,
                                                     "someObjects.myProperty
> $varName" );

   q.compile();
   q.bind( "varName", new Integer(0) );
   Collection objectsFound = q.execute();
..............................................
   q.bind( "varName", new Integer(3) );
  objectsFound = q.execute();
 .......................................................
