Yes, I think I'm tending towards PredicatedList now.

Only one problem, there is also the Transformer class. I was thinking that a
variation on the theme could allow objects to be transformed on entry to the
collection. For example strings read from a config file that represent
numbers could be converted to Integer objects as they are added. This could
potentially be done as part of the same class, messing up the name. Or I
could create a separate TransformedList class. Views?
