why wouldn't I?  It's an honor.  

No, I don't have an id.  Any of michael, iammichael, or msmith would work.  
I don't have much of a preference.

p.s. I'm not actually sure that the vote is binding.  There may be other
committers that were not looking at the thread.  Not that I think anyone
