One refinement: chaperon block comes with one generator and two
transformers.

The text generator only wraps textual input into one (root) xml element.
Usually this is followed by the 'lexer' transform to identify tokens in
the string, for instance: comma, non-comma and newline tokens. Using the
'parser' transform you can build an XML hierarchy from this, using a
(context free) grammar.

However, you can skip the transformers alltogether and use for instance
XSLT to do something smart with the text.
