See my reply to your previous thread; you use the "internal" value as 
the @value of fd:item, and the "human-readable" value as an fd:label.

<fd:selection-list>
   <fd:item value="MT935">
     <fd:label>Monthly Interest Sales</fd:label>
   </fd:item>
   <fd:item value="MT950MS">
     <fd:label>Money Statement</fd:label>
   </fd:item>
</fd:selection-list>
