Whenever I got this kind of error, it was either a missing namespace
declaration or an xpath mistake...

It's ringing a bell in my brain.  And the bell sounds like this: 
"namespaces..."

Sorry I can't give any more specific help than this.  After all, it is 
only just a bell ringing in my brain :-)
