Subject SV: SV: MySQL error on cocoon - please could some one help!
Date Tue, 28 Jun 2005 14:43:28 GMT
Hi.

The answer to this is depends on what environment (?) you are working in
At least in Flowscript and xsp, you could declare a String-object and put
your
variable into it, then apply the Trim()-method on the new variable. Even in
pure
JAVA you could do this of course.

If you do your work somewhere else, this might not be the thing, I can't see
from your
mail if you do it in xsp. ( I don't know if esql *only* works in xsp
either )

Regards
/Ralph

Hi,

An instance of the strings inside the query could be
like:

<query>update ms_concepts set chunk_name2_knowledge=1
where id=1</query>

This works fine for the first two chunks displayed,
after that I get the error, it seems that there is
something added to the string each time the update is
processed.

How could I use the Trim() function for the above
query, that might help!

Regards,

Fadi
