Subject node comparison
Date Wed, 23 Feb 2005 17:34:05 GMT
Hi,

I am using Cocoon to process large docs, and I wish to compare following
nodes
<rowset>
    <row>
          <date>YYYYMMDD</date<
    </row>
    <row>
          <date>YYYYMMDD</date>
    </row>
       :
       :

and I want to compare the date elements and print out the difference in
the result XML.

Normally I would do this along the lines of using
preceding-sibling::row/date type of approach,
and I have even tried recursive templates!

However since this is Cocoon, and we are using a sax model, is there a
better way, using javascript or something?

I get stack overflows, or very slow responses when using the recursive
or Xpath axes methods!

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Norman Barker
