Subject HTML tags in database results
Date Wed, 22 Sep 2004 19:08:44 GMT
Hi All,

I have a problem with displaying HTML tags in database output through
Cocoon.

What I have is:
<xsl:template match="FrameContent">
... <!-- a working query in esql -->
  <table>
    <esql:row-results>
      <xsp:logic>
        String desc1 = <esql:get-string column="description1" />;
      </xsp:logic>
    </esql:row-results>
    <tr>
      <td>FOO1<xsp:expr>desc1</xsp:expr>FOO2</td>
    </tr>
  </table>
 ... <!-- other code and end query -->
</xsl:template>

When this is displayed, it shows the contents of desc1, including HTML
tags, which are not properly interpreted, e.g.,
  FOO1<b>my text</b>FOO2

when I really want to see is,
  FOO1my textFOO2
where "my text" is in bold.

Is there some way to have these tags properly recognized?

Thanks,
Leona
