It should be possible to use java.util.Random class
to generate numbers and then use this to create
a string of, say, 8 alpha-numeric characters, using
a loop to pick each character from the base string.  
If  your password is case sensitive, this gives you
62 characters in the base string to choose from 
(a..z, A..Z, 0..9) - pretty small odds of any repetition there!
