The html-element has a default namespace declaration
(xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml").
You can rewrite this as follows:

<html:html xmlns:html="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">,

which is equal to the previous declaration.

I also recommend to read up on your XML/XSLT-skills, especially the
namespace part:
