maybe you could write :

<map:pipelines>
  <map:pipeline>
    <map:act type="session-isvalid">  
      <!-- all your pipelines nested here -->
      <map:match> 
         ... 
      </map:match>
      <map:match> 
        ... 
      </map:match>
      ...      
    </map:act>
    <!-- now, the pipeline handling invalid sessions -->
     ...
  </map:pipeline>
</map:pipelines>
