I figured it out, with help from my XSLT bible, XSLT 2nd Edition by Michael
Kay. I was using xsl:include wrong. Once I changed the concept in which I
used xsl:include it worked. Thanks to all who offered assistance.

Yes - that is, it doesn't interfere with it.

No.

If you provide an example of your <xsl:include> that isn't working, and 
show what your directory structure looks like, we can tell you what's 
wrong.
