The easiest way is to pass a parameter. If it is set then it was an internal
redirect.

Subject:	How to tell if a request is an internal redirect?

Hey folks --

Is there a way, with a selector perhaps, that you can tell if a pipeline
is getting executed because of a user's request or because of a
<map:redirect-to uri="cocoon://..."/>? I have a pipeline that redirects
to itself, and I want to prevent infinite recursion.

cheers,
-steve
