Hi, I would pretty much use XUL (mozilla UI). I have been experimenting 
with it lately, it is really cool stuff. I never had the chance to use 
it in production yet.

There is also an opensource project at www.millstone.org which uses an 
XML dialect called UIDL to generate user interfaces. Presently there is 
only a WebAdapter which generates HTML. This I have used in production, 
it rocks.
