If you used the Tomcat Windows installation, it would
have given you the option to install Tomcat as a service;
if you missed this, then just uninstall and redo it.

this my first time i to have put a cocoon based application in a windows 
2000 box 

is it possible to make tomcat start as service ? 

now i have put a shortcut in startup but tomcat start (automatic) after 
user (administrator) login 

i hope that someone here has more experience in windows based machines
