* Yes, XMLForms is being deprecated (long story - basically there's no 
further development on it)
* You have two options: Woody (documented on the Wiki: 
http://wiki.cocoondev.org/Wiki.jsp?page=Woody) and JXForms (documented on 
the site: http://cocoon.apache.org/2.1/userdocs/flow/jxforms.html) Both 
are under active development and support.
