Thanks! I'm using 2.1.  The <xpatch> task may be exactly what I'm looking
for.  I forgot about web.xml. I'm using BEA Weblogic Portal 8.1 and have to
merge the cocoon servlet definition with the BEA Portal stuff, so that would
really help.
