Hi Leo,

I have disabled the http-connector and changed the configuration a bit
more.

The httpd.conf configuration is:

<IfModule !mod_jk.c>
	LoadModule jk_module modules/mod_jk.dll
</IfModule>

NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.1

JkWorkersFile "c:/program files/Apache Tomcat
4.0/conf/jk/workers.properties"
JkLogFile "c:/program files/Apache Tomcat 4.0/logs/mod_jk.log" 
JkLogLevel debug 
<VirtualHost 127.0.0.1> 
	ServerName myCocoonAppServer
	DocumentRoot "c:/program files/Apache Tomcat

Include "c:/Program Files/Apache Tomcat 4.0/conf/auto/mod_jk.conf"

When I say http://myCocoonAppServer/ I see tomcat welcome page. But I
want this to directly go into
http://myCocoonAppServer/cocoon/starportal.
 
At the moment I have to manually type
http://myCocoonAppServer/cocoon/starportal to get into my application.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
