Subject Newbie Question

I was wondering...when exactly should I throw ProcessingExceptions?  For 
example, in my XSP I make some Java method calls to some backend code, and 
these backend methods may throw all kinds of checked exceptions (as well as 
some unchecked ones like IllegalArgumentException).

When should I wrap these exceptions with a ProcessingException?
