Subject correct SVG MIME?
Date Wed, 30 Apr 2003 05:01:51 GMT
Hi all,

I notice that in Cocoon (both in Cocoon 1 and 2) the
SVG MIME type is set to "image/xml-svg". The W3 SVG
spec says the MIME is "image/xml+svg". The public and
system id for SVG in Cocoon also differ from what the
spec says.
Is the MIME type sent by Cocoon not important for the
browsers?
I believe that IE browser probably can guess content
type from the url, but Netscape and others process the
document according to the content type (the correct
behaviour).

Is there any particular reason for this setting?

regards,

Amri

PS.
Sorry if this topic already discussed (i tried
searching the achives but couldn't find the answer)
