By the way, there are rumors that the session support will change sometime from now, because the new Servlet container specification changes. I am not aware when the Cocoon developers will do that but as Christian Haul said: Sorry - needed to revert (the modified) patch as it conflicts with the plan to separate XSPRequestHelper and XSPSessionHelper. OTOH applying it directly would create a dependency to the session-fw block. Next alternative would be to duplicate the session.xsl functionality or to create a logicsheet containing only the getxml tag.
