Hi Chrisitian

Thanks for your answer.

My default generator was the 'file' one.

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<!-- minimal sitemap for Cocoon 2 test -->

<map:sitemap xmlns:map="http://apache.org/cocoon/sitemap/1.0">

<!-- ======= Components ======= -->

<map:components>

<map:generators default="file"/>

<map:transformers default="xslt"/>

<map:serializers default="html"/>

<map:matchers default="wildcard">

<map:matcher name="wildcard"

src="org.apache.cocoon.matching.WildcardURIMatcherFactory"/>

</map:matchers>

</map:components>

<!-- ======= Pipelines ======= -->

<map:pipelines>

<map:pipeline>

<map:match pattern="">

<map:generator type="file" src="participants.xml"/>

<map:transform src="participants.xsl"/>

<map:serialize/>

</map:match>

</map:pipeline>

</map:pipelines>

</map:sitemap>

and the complete error message (no more informations in log) is the
following:
stack-trace

org.apache.cocoon.ProcessingException: Failed to generate program code (this
may happen if you use Xalan in incremental processing mode). Please check
log file and/or console for errors.
