Use a Stream Generator:

<map:match pattern="post-uri">
   <map:generate type="stream"/>
   <!-- This generator outputs the posted document as SAX events -->
   <map:transform type="whatever" ..../>
   <map:serialize type="xml"/>
</map:match>
