Subject problem with modular DatabaseAction and modular DatabaseSelectAction
Date Fri, 19 Jul 2002 16:36:26 GMT
Hi.

I want to do a simple select query with DatabaseSelectAction, but I'm
getting an exception. I don't know if it is a problem with
DatabaseAction turning autocommit off or if I made some mistake on my
descriptor file.

Relevant output from sitemap.log:

----------------------------------------------------------------
DEBUG   (2002-07-19) 11:24.21:306   [sitemap.action.database-select]
(/cocoon/LinePlant/describe-primario)
HttpProcessor[8080][4]/DatabaseAction: query: SELECT plant_item_code
FROM cst_plant_item WHERE plant_id= ?

DEBUG   (2002-07-19) 11:24.21:309   [sitemap.action.database-select]
(/cocoon/LinePlant/describe-primario)
HttpProcessor[8080][4]/DatabaseAction: Rolling back transaction. Caused
by [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Can't start a cloned
connection while in manual transaction mode.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

The descriptor file:

<root>
  <connection>------------</connection>
  <table name="cst_plant_item">
    <keys>
      <key name="plant_id" type="int">
        <mode name="request" parameter="plant_id" type="request"/>
      </key>
    </keys>
    <values>
      <value name="plant_item_code" type="string"/>
    </values>
  </table>
</root>

The GET request:

http://localhost:8080/cocoon/LinePlant/describe-primario?plant_id=48

Perhaps the DatabaseAction isn't doing the substitution with plant_id
request parameter.

Thanks for your help.
