Subject RE: Error compiling sitemap
Date Thu, 04 Apr 2002 14:32:48 GMT
I did copy over the appropriate files, however, I'm still getting the same
error as earlier. Interestingly, the first time I restart Tomcat and bring
up the browser, the error message in the log is something about the "Display
Settings". The following times I try to bring up Cocoon in the browser I
still get the "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError". Please refer the error
message at the bottom for details. Thanks!

Copy batiks*.jar xmlapis.jar and xercer*.jar into TomCat's library from
Cocoon/WEB-INF/lib directory....
And then restart

Subject: Error compiling sitemap

ENVIRONMENT:
NT Server 4; JDK1.3.1; Tomcat4.0.1; Cocoon2.0

Tomcat installed fine, and I'm able to bring up the default homepage for
Tomcat. I'm receiving an "Error compiling sitemap" error when I try to
launch Cocoon in the web browser http://localhost:8080/cocoon/

Listed below is the error I get in the log. TIA for your time and
efforts!

Ashish Rajput
(PS - I was able to successfully install Cocoon on my desktop with the
same
instructions)
