Subject RE: C2.0.1 - esql stored proc problem
Date Mon, 08 Apr 2002 14:46:50 GMT
Does Cocoon 2.0.1 work with stored prcedures?

more precisely,

I've this code in XSP:
======================
   <esql:connection>
     <esql:pool>argyn</esql:pool>
           <esql:execute-query>
             <esql:call >
              {call PKG_STUDENT.STUD_QUAL_STATUS(
              <esql:parameter direction="in"
type="string">'2'</esql:parameter>,
              <esql:parameter direction="in"
type="string">'3333333'</esql:parameter>,
              <esql:parameter direction="out" type="String"/>,
              <esql:parameter direction="out" type="date"/>,
              <esql:parameter direction="out" type="Int"/>)}
             </esql:call>

             <esql:call-results>
               <esql:results>
                 <esql:result><esql:get-string column="3"
from-call="true"/></esql:result>
               </esql:results>
             </esql:call-results>
           </esql:execute-query>

   </esql:connection>
=============================================

I only need to get the string from 3rd (OUT) parameter.

I see that ESQL generates the following code:

==============
  _esql_query = new EsqlQuery((ResultSet)

        (_esql_query.getCallableStatement().getString(3)
    )
      );
    {
      if (_esql_query.hasResultSet()) {
        do {
          _esql_query.getResultRows();

          if (_esql_query.nextRow()) {

          } else {

          }
          _esql_query.getResultSet().close();

        } while(_esql_query.getMoreResults());
      } else {

      }
    }
===========================
