Subject Re: Help - TEXTAREA in XSLT

Hi,

You may use <xsl:text> to write whitespace characters to the output tree.
eg:

...
<TEXTAREA name=".." rows=".." cols=".."><xsl:text>[line break]
</xsl:text>
</TEXTAREA>.
...

    Hi,

    Can u please give me the solution for this.

    In the stylesheet I define a textarea like this:
    <TEXTAREA name=".." rows=".." cols=".."></TEXTAREA>.
     The XSLT-processor (Xalan) optimizes my code and the
     result is this: <TEXTAREA name=".." rows=".."
     cols=".."/>. I know that this correct but my browser
     does not understand it.

    Bye
    Jagannath
