Subject (Tomcat+Cocoon+JBoss) org.apache.tomcat.facade.ServletWriterFacade.write() fails
Date Tue, 23 Oct 2001 10:04:00 GMT
Jboss 2.4.3 + Tomcat 3.2.3 bundle
Cocoon 1.8.2

This is an .EAR application that uses mySQL and
CMP EJBs as datasource. This data is constructed
in XML and presented via Cocoon to Web browser client.
Cocoon is packaged inside a .WAR as such its easier
to just drop in for deployment.

I have a login.xml Cocoon servlet and a corresponding
plain servlet that parses the login form information and finally
calls EJB-layer. In each case control flow is returned
back to the caller (login.xml) with some parameters e.g. say
http://localhost:8080/myapp/login.xml?action=Process
with response.sendRedirect(...) Only subsequent
processing of already compiled Cocoon Servlet fails
with attached Stack Trace.

Can anybody shed some light into this matter?
Funny thing is that, similar Cocoon application (plain WAR)
without the EJB-layer implementation works just fine
under JBoss-Tomcat-Cocoon Bundle.

It seems that Tomcat + Cocoon works fine so far as
I'm calling the EJB-layer and trying to display the results.

Yet, a standalone java-test client has no problems whatsoever.
