I got it working with this line for the 3rd col in my table:

            <fo:table-column column-width="200pt" border-left-color="black"
border-left-style="solid" border-left-width=".3mm"/>

I have tried it right now and even thought it does not
generate any warnings/errors in the log file ... it
still leave the PDF without any table borders :-(
