Subject ESQL and FOR XML
Date Thu, 12 Apr 2001 02:12:11 GMT
I found a cool command in SQL Server 2000: "SELECT .... FOR XML" that
automatically turns a record set into XML. This command would be awesome to
use in conjunction with cocoon, but I can't get the data. I think it is
because it returns some wierd thing instead of a record set.

When I use the freetds driver I get nothing, and when I use the JDBC-ODBC
bridge I get a long string of numbers if I select the first column of the
first row.

Has anyone tried this or know anything about it?
