Subject RE: Cocoon2 on Weblogic 5.1.0 ?
Date Mon, 19 Mar 2001 23:02:28 GMT
You are WAAAYYYYYY ahead of me. I can't even determine if cocoon.war is
being loaded.

I have read the "Installation instructions", which are basically:

1. have a servlet2.2 engine
2. set JAVA_HOME
3. build cocoon.war
4. put it somewhere
5. restart servlet engine
6. Voila!

I have done steps 1-3. It's #4 that's giving me a bit of a problem. I have
cocoon.war in my classpath, but it ain't workin'.

Call me an ignorant slob, but what you're saying sounds slightly more
complicated than that. Are there any installation instructions anywhere
else that someone can point me to? I have searched this list, to no avail.

Thank you so much,

William.

The difference between the two Servlets, is that the
ParanoidCocoonServlet
will explicitly load the jars into it's own classloader. It also gives
you a couple of parameters to overcome the problem of when
ServletContainer
vendors try to move your jars on you.
