Subject RE: Turbine pool connection
Date Thu, 08 Mar 2001 01:45:00 GMT
Hello,

The turbine-pool.jar library contains a number of predefined Turbine
adapters for JDBC drivers (package org.apache.turbine.util.db.adapter) used
by the DBFactory (as stated in cocoon.properties). The one used for MySQL is
called DBDBMM, where DBMM is the database name, hence the required change.

More info there http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/connection-pool.html
and there http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/db-adapters.html

I don't know why the value isn't correct in cocoon.properties, though,
probably due to changes in the turbine distribution (wild guess).

Regards,
Yann Camenen

Sorry for the spamming... :)

I have solved the problem, but I REALLY DIDN'T GET IT!

All I did was change the name DBMySQL (in the Cocoon.properties file) in
DBMM.
Hence the lines:

processor.xsp.pool.database.adaptor=DBMM
processor.xsp.pool.database.adaptor.DBMM=org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver

Is this a bug, or just a feature? :)
