I am using the Zeus web server, which has an Apache-like htaccess
module, but with a slightly different syntax. Here are some of my
directives, but be aware that this may need to be changed to Apache
syntax:

<Location /cocoon>
  deny from all
</Location>
<Location /cocoon/org.apache.cocoon.Cocoon>
  allow from all
</Location>
<Location *.xsl>
  deny from all
</Location>
<Location *.xsp>
  deny from all
</Location>
<Location /Cocoon.xml>
  require user admin
</Location>
