Subject unicode

Hello everybody,

I don't seem to be the only one with unicode-problems, but I still wasn't able to solve it.........
E.g. the unicode charakter – ist encoded into – which works fine for
IE5 (converted into the dash), but NN4.75 just displays "–"

I've already changed the cocoon.properties file like this:

##########################################
# XSP Processor #
##########################################
...
# Default encoding to be used for code generation and compilation
# If omitted, the platform's default encoding will be used
# This encoding should also be used in:
# - The XSP document <?xml?> declaration
# - The "encoding" configuration property of the formatter to be used
# Example: Russian uses "Cp1251"
processor.xsp.encoding = utf-8

(The same encoding in XSL and XSL-file)

and restartet the system, but it shows no effect.
Do I have to remove a cache, and if, where do I find it ??
Anything else I can do ????
Any possibility to make cocoon convert the unicode directly into the right symbol ????
