Subject XSL chaining - media
Date Tue, 23 Jan 2001 10:25:10 GMT
Hi everybody

I have stylesheet chaining up and running
but when I add an extra stylesheet with a media parameter for ex media="wap"
(I use chaining because I want to separate the logic and the display)

the first stylesheet(logic.xsl) is not executed.

I don't know why this happens, here is a top of my xml file (content file)

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<?xml-stylesheet href="xml-wml.xsl" type="text/xsl" media="wap"?>
<?xml-stylesheet href="xml-html.xsl" type="text/xsl"?>
<?cocoon-process type="xslt"?>
<?cocoon-process type="stylesheet-chain"?>
<?xml-stylesheet href="logic.xsl" type="text/xsl"?>
<?cocoon-process type="xslt"?>
...

when I address this file from a wap enabled device the logic.xsl is not
processed, from a html browser it works fine

when I omit the xsl with the media reference it works fine:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<?xml-stylesheet href="xml-html.xsl" type="text/xsl"?>
<?cocoon-process type="xslt"?>
<?cocoon-process type="stylesheet-chain"?>
<?xml-stylesheet href="logic.xsl" type="text/xsl"?>
<?cocoon-process type="xslt"?>
...

Could someone help me out

thank you

Nicolas Pottrain
