Subject This is strange :-) magic word "option" somewhere in cocoon ?
Date Wed, 03 Jan 2001 12:58:36 GMT
Hello,

yesterday I reported problems with some xsp-sniplets. But after peeking
and poking around I discovered the following strange behaviour :

<xsl:template match="select">

   <select>

   <xsp:logic>

	for (int i=0; i &lt 3; i++) {

		<xsl:apply-templates select="entries"/>

	}

   </xsp:logic>

   </select>

</xsp:template>

<xsl:template match="entries">

	<entry>

		<xsl:apply-templates/>

	</entry>

</xsl:template>

<xsl:template match="entry">

	<option>

		<xsl:apply-templates/>

	</option>

</xsl:template>

If in the template "entry" <option> is used and you use

<select>
   <optionentries/>
</select>

you'll get. ___ Note the missing </option>

<select>

   <option>
   <option>
   <option>

</select>

__ But if you use <whatever>

you'll get :

<select>
    <whatever></whatever>
    <whatever></whatever>
    <whatever></whatever>
</select>

Weird isnt it ? I can live with the open <option> the Browser doesnt
care about that but I doubt the application in general with that
problem.

Regards

Michael
