That's not the problem. I use ?output=.pdf. It works with an embedded SQL
query, I see the PDF on the page. Once I try creating the query dynamically
it doesn't work and I believe it is not because it calls the bean function
getQueryString(request, response) a second time to get the data. Of course,
the second time it is empty. 

I am using Cocoon 1.8.1 by the way.
