Subject esql tags parsing
Date Wed, 06 Dec 2000 07:25:35 GMT
Hi,

I have copied that esql.xsl file in to

/usr/local/jakarta-home/cocoon-1.7.4/dist/cocoon-1.7.4/src/org/apache/cocoon/processor/xsp/library/java/

directory.I am using XSP taglib in to my XML file and
want some XML text from the database but cocoon is not
processing that ESQL tags according to esql.xsl file.

here is the code.............

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<?cocoon-process type="xsp"?>
<?cocoon-process type="xslt"?>
<?xml-stylesheet href="page-html.xsl"
type="text/xsl"?>

<xsp:page
  language="java"
  xmlns:esql="http://www.apache.org/cocoon/SQL/v2"
  xmlns:xsp="http://www.apache.org/1999/XSP/Core"
>

        <xsp:expr>request.getQueryString()</xsp:expr>

<esql:connection>
<esql:execute-query>
<esql:driver>org.postgresql.Driver</esql:driver>
<esql:dburl>jdbc:postgresql://localhost/newztoday</esql:dburl>
<esql:username>username</esql:username>
<esql:password>password</esql:password>
<esql:query>select xml_story from content</esql:query>
<esql:results>
<Groups>
<Name><esql:get-string column="1"/></Name>
</Groups>
</esql:results>
<esql:no-results>

and here is the output............

org.postgresql.Driver
jdbc:postgresql://localhost/newztoday username
password select xml_story from content no results were
found

Thanks
